WATCH: Trump lashes out at Harris about rally attendance | ABC Presidential Debate

Former President Donald Trump responded to Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim that people leave Trump’s rallies “early out of exhaustion and boredom” by alleging without evidence that Harris’ supporters do the same or are being paid to attend her rallies.

“Harris said people start leaving, people don’t go to her rallies, there’s no reason to go,” Trump said. “The people that do go, she’s bussing them in and paying them to be there and then showing them in a different light, so she can’t talk about that.”

He also claimed that he hosts the “biggest” and “most incredible rallies in the history of politics” because “people want to take their country back.”

Harris and Trump met for their first and possibly only debate on Sept. 10, hosted by ABC in Philadelphia. Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee this summer after Biden gave a troubling debate performance in June, increasing calls for him to drop out of the race.

According to the latest PBS News/NPR/Marist poll, more than two-thirds of Americans say they will watch all or most of the debate. While many voters have already made up their minds, 14 percent of Americans say the debate will have a great impact on which candidate they choose.
