The Department of Justice has indicted Russian nationals Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva with conspiracy to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and conspiracy to commit money laundering. They work for RT News and funneled $10 million to Canadian influencer Lauren Chen and her husband Liam Donovan to create an American based media company to promote Russia and Donald Trump and weaken support for Ukraine.
Tenet Media then paid right-wing influencers such as Tim Pool, Matt Christiansen, Dave Rubin, Tayler Hansen, Benny Johnson and Lauren Southern to promote Trump and Russia to their already large audiences on social media to affect the outcome of the 2024 election
