우크라이나 국경에서 북쪽으로 약 11km 떨어진 러시아의 세임강 다리가 우크라이나군의 공격으로 붕괴했습니다.

BBC는 현지시간 16일 “우크라이나군이 세임강 다리를 공격해 무너뜨렸다”며 “우크라이나군의 두 차례 공격으로 미니버스 탑승자 등 2명이 사망했고, 교량이 파괴되면서 최소 27개 정착촌이 고립됐다”고 밝혔습니다.

이 다리는 러시아가 쿠르스크 글루시콥스키 지역의 자국군에 무기와 장비를 공급하는 데 이용하는 교량으로, 이번 붕괴로 러시아의 병력 공급과 주민 대피에 차질이 빚어질 것으로 보입니다.

러시아 외무부는 성명을 내고 “우크라이나군이 세임강 다리를 파괴하는 등 민간 인프라에 대한 공격을 수행하고 있다, 우크라이나는 민간인을 최우선 목표로 삼고 있다”고 규탄했습니다.

이런 가운데 미국 백악관은 “수일 안에 우크라이나를 위한 더 많은 안보지원을 발표할 예정”이라고 밝혀 미국이 우크라이나의 무기 사용 범위에 변화를 줄지 관심이 쏠리고 있습니다.

미국은 확전을 우려해 지금까지는 우크라이나가 주로 방어 목적에 한해서만 자국이 제공한 무기로 러시아 영토를 타격할 수 있도록 허용해 왔습니다.

নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম কার্যকরের সম্ভাবনা কম বলে জানিয়েছেন শিক্ষা উপদেষ্টা ওয়াহিদউদ্দিন মাহমুদ। দায়িত্ব নেয়ার পর আজ সচিবালয়ে প্রথম কর্মদিবসে এ কথা জানান তিনি। বলেন, ধীরে ধীরে আগের শিক্ষাক্রমে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করবে বর্তমান সরকার। তবে শিক্ষার্থীদের যাতে অস্বস্তি না হয়, সেদিকে গুরুত্ব দেয়া হবে।
