Supreme Court Verdict on Quota Within Quota Case: सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) में चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया (Chief Justice of India) डीवाई चंद्रचूड़ (DY Chandrachud) की अध्यक्षता वाली सात जजों की बेंच ने एक ऐसे केस में फैसला सुना दिया है, जिस पर लंबे समय से चर्चाएं गरमाई हुई थीं, और बेताबी से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले (Supreme Court Verdict) का इंतजार किया जा रहा था। सीजेआई डीवाई चंद्रचूड़ (CJI DY Chandrachud) की अगुवाई वाली बेंच ने SC/ST आरक्षण (SC ST reservation) में जाति आधारित आरक्षण को संभव बताते हुए, इसके पक्ष में फैसला सुनाया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपने जजमेंट (Supreme Court Judgement) में कहा, कि कोटे के भीतर कोटा (Quota Within Quota) समानता के खिलाफ नहीं है। दिलचस्प बात इसमें ये है, कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट (SC) ने ये फैसला अपने ही एक पुराने फैसले को पलटते हुए दिया है। आपको बता दें, कि इस मामले की सुनवाई सुनवाई सात जजों की संवैधानिक बेंच कर रही थीं। जिसमें सीजेआई चंद्रचूड़ के अलावा, जस्टिस मनोज मिश्रा, जस्टिस बेला एम त्रिवेदी, जस्टिस बी आर गवई, जस्टिस विक्रम नाथ, जस्टिस पंकज मित्तल और जस्टिस एससी शर्मा (CJI Chandrachud, Justice Manoj Mishra, Justice Bela M Trivedi, Justice BR Gavai, Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Pankaj Mittal and Justice SC Sharma) भी शामिल थे। इस सात जजों की बेंच में से फैसला 6-1 के बहुमत से सुनाया गया।
