Militer Israel menyebarkan selebaran di sebuah desa di wilayah Lebanon selatan yang berbatasan dengan Israel pada Minggu (15/9/2024). Selebaran itu berisi desakan untuk warga setempat yakni Desa Wazzani, agar segera pergi mengungsi. Hal ini dibeberkan oleh media pemerintah Lebanon.

Kepala Desa Wazzani, Ahmed Al Mohammed pun menunjukkan selebaran itu bergambar peta wilayah dengan area yang ditandai untuk evakuasi dengan warna merah. Ditulis dengan bahasa Arab, selebaran itu berbunyi bahwa warga setempat harus mengungsi menuju utara wilayah Khiam sebelum pukul 4 sore waktu setempat.

IDF bahkan meminta agar warga Lebanon tidak kembali ke rumahnya hingga perang berakhir. Ini adalah kali pertama Israel meminta warga Lebanon selatan untuk mengungsi usai 11 bulan pertempuran lintas batas antara Hizbullah dan Israel pecah.
